Spring Fling at Pismo State Beach Nature Center

Pismo Beach , CA: Docents at the Pismo State Beach Nature Center are putting together a special series of programs at the Pismo Nature Center, adjacent to the Oceano Campground, Pismo State Beach, during the week of April 9-13.  Many schools will be out for spring break during this time.  To provide educational and interpretive opportunities, Docents will present a special series of daily programs and the Nature Center will be open daily during that week.  For further information, please check at the Pismo Nature Center, which is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00-4:00 PM at this time of year.  There is a bulletin board outside the building if you are there when the Nature Center is closed.

To accommodate our spring break visitors, Pismo State Beach-Oceano Campground Nature Center will be open everyday from 1 pm to 4 pm, April 9 th through April 13 th. Each day at 2 pm, State Park docents will present a thirty-minute talk covering topics of local interest. This is a wonderful opportunity to tour our native plants gardens, stroll around the lagoon and enjoy the exhibits in our nature center. We are located at 555 Pier Ave. in Oceano.

Come join us for this special week of educational and interpretive activities. For more information, please contact Rouvaishyana, Manager, Museum of Natural History, Morro Bay State Park at (805) 772-2694 ext. 105.
